The initial dispatch described a working structure fire, type unknown, with numerous calls being received. Secondary reports from callers indicated there were possibly several buildings involved. Crews from LFRD, Ballardsville Fire Dept. and South Oldham Fire Department arrived on scene to find fire through the roof of a detached 4 car garage/workshop behind a residence on E. Jefferson Street in LaGrange. An exposure to the single family dwelling next door was protected with a 1.75" attack line while the main body of fire was extinguished with 2.5" and 1.75" attack lines. Several antique cars were extensively damaged in the blaze and the structure appeared to be a complete loss.
